This composition means a lot to me. It's dedicated to the day I finally became a Canadian citizen 🇨🇦
At 23, it was the first time I had ever been a citizen of any of the five countries I had lived in. For a long time, I didn't know where I truly belonged. That day, something shifted. It felt like a weight had been lifted.
I came home full of emotion and wrote this.
During the ceremony, the judge gave a powerful speech. One line stayed with me, and it became the title of this piece. "Most Glorious Day."
