Kops Records

We’re back with some hand picked Soul / Subgenre picks from the man himself, NICK! 🤩

Nick takes his time (and music education) to go through and select his favourites to share with YOU!🫢

This week, he’s got soul/subgenre artists from Roy Ayers, Otis Redding, Barbara Lewis, and of course Stevie Wonder (sealed packaging!). 💫

Discover more Nicks Picks at our Queen St location. See you soon 🖤

What’s better than Erykah Badu & The Alchemist releasing an album together? Seeing them live on tour together! 🤩

Headed to RBC Ampitheatre on Sunday, September 13th, aka IMEHO - we dont buy bots - all organic & Alchemist are not to be missed… which is why we’re giving away a pair of tickets! ✨

Want a chance to win? Be sure you’re following ☀️Kops Records☀️, like this post, and tag a friend below! 🙌

Winners will be contacted via DM by ☀️Kops Records☀️ on Wednesday, September 9th! Good luck and we’ll see you at the show 🫶

Happy 7 inch Sunday! 🤩

This week, we’ve got something fascinating! Pink Floyd’s 45 of ‘See Emma Play’ and ‘Scarecrow’ has something wrong… can you spot THE mistake? 🫢

THE Pink Floyd is a misprint done on both sides of this 45! Back in 1967, early pressings and labels commonly bore ‘The Pink Floyd’ before shortening their name to ‘Pink Floyd’ later that year 🤞

Checkout this rare 7’ inch at our Danforth store! Give us a call to inquire🖤

12” SINGLE LOVERS! Now is your time! 🤯

We’re having a HUGE SALE! ALL of our 12” singles are now 50% OFF for this weekend ONLY! 🚨

This is a cross store location sale, so the selection is endless! 🤞

The end of summer sale is on now, visit us at Kops Queen or Danforth to snag yourself some new (and discounted) singles! 🖤

Not everyone can be deemed a true trailblazer, but the incredible Eddie Cochran sure can!

On September 11th, “Eddie Cochran: Don’t Forget Me” is making its Canadian premiere at Hot Docs and we’re super excited to tell you that we’re sending YOU! 😍

This very special premiere is screening at 7pm and is followed up by a Q&A with the director, Kirsty Bell and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame curator, Andy Leach 🎥

If you want to win tickets then be sure you’re following ☀️Kops Records☀️ & Hot Docs and tag who you’d bring to the screening 🫶

Winners will be contacted via DMs by ☀️Kops Records☀️ on September 5th! All other entries will be receiving a special promo code too so make sure to enter & we’ll see you at the movies! ☺️
