One Frequently Asked Question that we get is: Do I need a neck lift or a facelift?
In general, sagginess in the neck including loose skin, neck bands, and lack of definition is best treated by a combined facelift and neck lift.
In reality, they are components of the same procedure—not two separate surgeries. The majority of the looseness that we see comes from a vertical drop which is why supporting the cheek and lower face area in combination with tightening the neck is the preferred approach. Simply trying to pull on the neck skin alone usually doesn’t work.

Every patient comes in with something they want to change, but the right solution isn’t always the treatment they had in mind.
That’s where an honest conversation matters.
With expertise across both surgical and non-surgical facial aesthetics, Jamil Asaria can look at the face as a whole, understand what is actually contributing to a concern, and talk through the options that make sense for that individual at that time.
Sometimes that may mean surgery. Sometimes it may be a non-surgical treatment. Sometimes it may mean doing less, waiting, or approaching the concern differently.
The goal is never to do more simply for the sake of doing more. It’s to understand what you’re trying to achieve and determine what is actually right for you.
That conversation is where the process begins.

At FACE Toronto, we take a comprehensive approach to improving skin quality and facial appearance. Depending on your concerns, your plan may include laser treatments, energy-based technologies, injectables, microneedling or medical-grade skincare.
These treatments can be used to address concerns such as pigmentation, uneven texture, fine lines, sun damage, loss of firmness and overall skin quality.
The first step is understanding what your skin needs and what you want to achieve. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh or want to be more proactive about your skin.
Start with a consultation and let’s determine what makes sense for you.
When it comes to resurfacing, different lasers work at different depths and target different skin concerns.
MOXI — 1927 nm
A gentle fractional laser that targets pigmentation, uneven tone and early signs of sun damage while improving overall skin texture.
HALO — Hybrid Fractional Laser
Uses both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to address pigmentation and texture while stimulating collagen.
ProFractional — Ablative Resurfacing
Creates controlled microchannels deeper in the skin to stimulate collagen remodeling and improve texture, scarring and more advanced skin concerns.
The goal isn’t always the strongest laser. It’s understanding what your skin needs and choosing the appropriate level of resurfacing to achieve it.

We’re excited to share these before-and-after images of our lovely patient.
Every patient has different areas they want to address, different anatomy, and different goals. That’s why the consultation is such an important part of the process.
For Jamil Asaria precision begins before surgery, understanding what the patient is looking to change, assessing their individual anatomy, and creating a plan that is tailored specifically to them.
The goal isn’t to make every patient look the same. It’s to create a result that feels balanced, natural, and uniquely theirs.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood and put in a centrifuge to isolate platelets and growth factors. These are then applied or injected into targeted areas to support the body’s natural repair and regeneration processes.
At FACE, PRP can be incorporated into personalized treatment plans for concerns such as hair thinning, skin quality and recovery, depending on the patient and their goals.
The key is knowing when PRP makes sense — and when another treatment may be more appropriate.
That’s where a proper consultation and individualized treatment plan come in.
