Catch Iris Kim’s BABY FAT and Harrison Browne’s PINK LIGHT at Toronto Outdoor Picture Show on Thurs, Aug 13. Screening ahead of Fawzia Mirza’s THE QUEEN OF MY DREAMS, enjoy an evening of films, arts & crafts, and snacks!

BABY FAT dir. iris kim is a short film following Kitty feeling stuck in her twenties, haunted by the fear of choosing the wrong path and burdened with familial pressures. From moving through the fear of embarking on a new adventure to her giddy, snap decision to leave behind what no longer serves her, sometimes the contemplation of the journey is part of the journey itself.

PINK LIGHT dir. Harrison Browne is based on transgender director, author, and athlete, Harrison Browne’s real life, telling the story of a professional hockey player flashing back to his youth. During a transitional time waiting on the brink for life to really begin, while simultaneously closing out a very meaningful chapter, this short film explores the hard-won hindsight and complicated feelings of lamenting and honouring our past selves.
