The Assembly

The Assembly is looking for a few committed longform improv performers to join our Performance Teams this term! We will hold a small audition on Saturday, October 3rd .

Performance teams rehearse with talented, highly respected, and committed coaches, who take their craft seriously.

We need performers who want to be part of a team, grow in their skills, and have fun.

Find the fun in simplicity with Lance Oribello and The Assembly Improv! In these September sessions, you will explore how simple, clear offers can make scenes more fun, playful, and easier to drive! You’ll practice finding the fun in what’s already happening, without overcomplicating it or adding too much to a scene. It’s going to be really awesome!

Crate Diggers celebrates Pride Month by taking a look at 6 musical icons who left their mark as artists within the LGBTQ+ community with cultural and historical importance! Whether they were revolutionaries, pioneers in their genre, advocates, or fighters and voices for those who felt they couldn’t speak up, they left an impact in the culture and did so loud and proud! Jonathan Bosco is a Torontonian improviser and Actor, who has been performing and producing in the city for over a decade! Known to take a more physical approach to his improv and performances, his focus for REPS will be Dynamic Scenes! In this fast-paced 90 minute workshop, you’ll move away from talking heads and towards incorporating object work and physicality into your performance, while also exploring your environment, moving around on the stage and using that space!!
