PERMIKA Toronto

Kalimantan is home to millions of lives, from local communities to countless species that depend on its forests for survival.

As we pray for Kalimantan, may this also remind us of our responsibility to protect its forests, its people, and its biodiversity. May Kalimantan recover, and may its future be safeguarded.

🇮🇩Dirgahayu Republik Indonesia Ke-81🇮🇩

81 years ago, Indonesia declared its independence and announced its freedom to the world, after years of colonization and resistance.

Now, as Indonesian students in Toronto, we are proud to celebrate our independence and bring a piece of our identity through communities and contributions. We may be thousand miles apart, but our love will always unite us.❤️🤍

Merdeka!✊🇮🇩
