Welcome to Revolution Recording - Studio C

Studio C is our most intimate room - it is comfortable, focused and ideal for smaller sessions. The control room is built around a Neve Genesys G96 console and custom monitoring, while reclaimed barn board diffusion gives the live room a distinctive look and controlled sound.

It’s a great fit for overdubs, mixing and smaller tracking sessions and is an EXCELLENT drum tracking room for clients looking to get a tight, dry drum sound.

With its own private lounge, Studio C gives artists and producers a self-contained space to work without feeling boxed in.

Revolution’s favourite piano tuner, Wayne Ferguson, is a star!

In May, Wayne returned from New York for the premiere of Tuner, the Dustin Hoffman and Leo Woodall film about the fascinating world of piano tuning - a world Wayne knows better than almost anyone. He served as a consultant on the film, helping Dustin Hoffman get inside the craft and character of a piano tuner.

And the best part? Dustin gifted Wayne the tuner’s truck from the movie, with one request: park it in front of the TIFF building for the premiere! Naturally, Wayne delivered 🚚🎬

For decades, Wayne has been behind the scenes making pianos sing at Massey Hall, Roy Thomson Hall and the Royal Conservatory, working with legends from Oscar Peterson to Diana Krall. He’s also currently restoring Glenn Gould’s original piano.

A true Toronto music legend and one of the nicest guys around.
