Toronto! Our annual Prove You're a Comic competition starts in a week!

9 comics perform on the next four Tuesdays. Top 5 (chosen by judging panel) from each week perform on Wednesday and Thursday. Winner from each week is decided by audience vote on Wednesday and Thursday!

Finals Week (Oct 27 - Nov 1, 2026) will have the winner of each heat and a wild card/house pick! Winner will be decided by audience vote throughout the week!

Winner of the competition gets a $500 cash prize and a week of paid shows at both Absolute Comedy locations!

The competitors (subject to change):

Week 1 (Sept 29 - Oct 1, 2026): Brandon Sobel, Dean Hebscher, Garrett Rudkins, Kendelle LaBella, Kyle Bergstresser, Nicholas Rizzi, Sashka, Sebastiano “Bash” Fazio, and Shagun Chheda

Week 2 (Oct 6 - 8, 2026): Dan Weston, Hector Rivas, Jordan Hoath, Lukas, s h a e n a r i e c k e r m a n, Sharmaine Ehi, tobi solebo, Tyler Little, and Winnie Jiang 蒋镕好

Week 3 (Oct 13 - 15, 2026): Brenton Huxtable, Cole Chauvin, Derek Holly, Kristin Doucet, Leny Corrado, Matt Render, Moira LePage, Peter Josip, and Rasha Elfeky

Week 4 (Oct 20 - 22, 2026): Betsy Dee, Brad Semotiuk, Dani Macfarlane, Evan Klim, Harish Seetharaman, Manny Mangat, shibi, Suzanne Paquin, and t-pain
