🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today, CANES pauses to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities.

We recognize that reconciliation begins with listening, learning, reflection, and a commitment to understanding the truths of our shared history.

As we mark this important day, we encourage everyone in our CANES community to take time to reflect and consider how each of us can contribute to a future built on respect, understanding, and reconciliation.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

Try writing a short note or making a quick phone call to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. For many seniors, small moments of connection can mean everything.
