Join the East Asian Studies Students’ Union (EASSU) for a conversation exploring migration and belonging across Latin American and East Asian diasporas. Our guests will connect personal experiences with their scholarship, with opportunities for students to ask questions and meet others across programs.

OnEast Fall 2026 Issue Call for Submissions & Editors!

With OnEast Summer 2026 wrapping up, EASSU is pleased to announce that we are opening submissions for our next Fall 2026 Issue of OnEast!

We are accepting all essays, poems, translations and artwork pertinent to the field of East Asian Studies. For inspiration on what to submit, do refer to our Summer 2026 edition, which will be digitally released online very soon. The submission deadline is the 25th of October, and we aim to digitally publish submissions by 2027 January. Find the submission link in the linktree in our bio!

We are also accepting editorial applications from all qualified undergraduate candidates. Also find the nomination form in our linktree. The deadline for editorial nominations is October 15.
