Recently completed a Wilson frame with this Diadem Impulse multifilament string. I’ve never come across this string before but gosh it was expensive! About $30! I also noticed some damage before even starting. A bit disappointed with the string quality. It seems to be sourced from a lower end supplier from Asia. 🤔

Would other stringers dare work on a damaged racquet? This one came in and it looked pretty bad initially. I inspected it thoroughly and concluded that it was primarily the paint that’s chipping though the frame definitely experienced some (maybe repeated) impacts. Took a chance and hope it still performs!

This customer wanted spin along with the comfort of a multifilament. So I put on Nova Strata Max Spin in the mains and Toalson T8 multi in the crosses. These are great high performance strings from smaller brands! Btw, how pretty is this limited edition Roland Garros Wilson from the National Bank Open?! 😍

This consumer sometimes has elbow issues but really wants to stick to a poly setup for competition. This Alu Power Vibe plus Nova Strata Turbo poly-poly hybrid setup is close to ideal with Vibe’s dampening abilities and Turbo being one of the softest polys in the market

Here's a before and after of the first TFIight racquet that I've ever strung. Interesting racquet. Very similar to a Head Radical MP. The Razor Soft actually didn't feel very soft. Many co-polys like Nova Strata lineup is softer imo.

Put some fresh Alu Power Vibe on this classic Head Speed recently. The Vibe version is quite soft and comfortable but does lose a bit of the iconic snapback and power from the regular Alu Power. I recommend mixing this with a power-oriented poly for the cross like Signum Pro Megaforce.

Is there some sort of sale going on with this Head Boom MP racquet?? More clients coming in with it needing fresh strings. I highly recommend the Head Syngut here for beginners. It also doubles as multifilaments and is super soft. This beginner got it at 52lbs and will provide feedback once she gets some practice in to dial it in with her style, strengths and weaknesses. 👍

Back after a short break. Here's a dual job I did for a couple getting ready to enjoy the outdoor season. Orange Head racquet has an upcoming new brand of strings for the mains that mimics RPM Blast and Taan TT8600 for the cross. Light racquet has a Head Multifilament full bed. What I've noticed working with the TT8600 is that since it's so similar to Solinco Hyper G, it's probably better as a main string due to the sharp edges and bite that one would want for spin.

Stringing a little more again, esp for those at my club. Here’s a beautiful new beige 95 strung with Confidential. Amazing edged poly. I'd recommend pairing the mains up with a smooth round poly to avoid the Confidential cutting into the crosses as much. These strings are sharp!!
