Working primarily in oil, Wang embraces the medium’s slow, contemplative nature. Beginning with a sketch or a fleeting image, each painting evolves organically through layered brushwork, allowing the process itself to shape the final composition. Her paintings explore the passage of time through both subject and material, with delicate layers of paint recalling the weathered surfaces of ancient murals.

Since establishing her painting practice, Wang has presented her work at The Artist Project, Artscape Youngplace, and the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, building a growing audience for her distinctive practice. Her first solo exhibition, SOFT SPACE, presented by Samara Contemporary, marks a significant milestone in her evolving career.
