Back in Melbourne after a refreshing but very rainy weekend in Sydney 🌧️

(This photo was taken yesterday during a very brief respite from the rain 😅)

I’m energised and ready to play some fresh, euphoric, shimmering sounds on the airwaves today from 4pm AEST, live from Revolver Lane

🌀 Be sure to tune in!🌀

Also, starting next month, Upward Spiralling will be shifting from a fortnightly one-hour show to a monthly two-hour format ✨

TONIGHT! Playing my first non-radio set in Melbourne this Sunday since arriving a few months ago, and it’s a gooood one!! 🥵🥳😎
melbourne is a brand new club with such a sick aesthetic and soundsystem 🔊 I’ll be playing open-to-close from 9pm–1am !✨😃

For today’s second episode of Upward Spiralling on Area 3000 radio, I’m really excited to feature M!a Wallace, who’s put together an absolute gem of a mix! 🌀✨

Rapidly emerging out of the Naarm/Melbourne electronic dance scene, M!a Wallace is turning heads with her genre bending sets, unique selection and love for 90’s euphoria.

Listeners can expect enough driving bass, rolling energy and wiggy house to send you on an upwards spiral.

Tune in today at 4PM AEDT / 12AM Toronto time via area3000.radio to catch it live 🎧

The show will also be up on SoundCloud afterwards if you miss it.

I’ll be back in the studio next week for episode 03 💫

So excited to announce my new fortnightly residency starting today on .radio ! ✨

Upward Spiralling is about momentum; leaning into a positive trajectory and building from there. Being here in Melbourne, immersed in so much inspiring music and surrounded by artists doing incredible things, feels like exactly that🌀💙

Expect forward-thinking, euphoric selections and a spotlight on incredible female and gender-expansive artists from Naarm and beyond. Looking forward to sharing the first guest announcements soon🙂

Episode 001 airs today at 4PM AEDT.
Lock in: area3000.radio 🎧

Join us this Saturday night! ✨

Before I take off to Australia, we’re throwing a proper send-off with a lineup of incredible DJs! 🤗

9pm till late at Boogie 🌙

I’m still in disbelief that my EP Normal Sensations was reviewed in the print edition of Mixmag Spain this month! 🤯🥳

One of my fav lines from the review:

“The Resonance Spectrum Records label returns with its second release, Normal Sensations, this time from Toronto-based producer Loxxe, who demonstrates her talent for fusing progressive rhythms with touches of trance and a distinctly electronic sensibility.”

These kind words genuinely warmed my heart! 🥰

Gracias, Mixmag España! 🙏🏻🇪🇸

After 6.5 years of learning Ableton, 2025 was the first year I started releasing music, and it somehow turned into 11 tracks across 5 labels! 🥵😛🥳

It all started with winning Gene on Earth’s Nug-Net student compilation competition for Limousine Dream, then rolled into my first EP on Belters4U, my first remix on Allblak, and two more EPs on Resonance Spectrum and Mantissa 💫

Thank you to everyone who played, supported, bought, Shazammed, or illegally downloaded these tracks from soulseek🤪🙏🏻

Looking forward to making new music during my creative sabbatical in Melbourne in 2026! 🇦🇺😃

MY 3RD AND FINAL EP OF THE YEAR — Plains of Passage — IS OUT NOW ON MANTISSA! 🎉

A slapping two-tracker from different worlds, yet sharing a similar sonic terrain:

🦣 Plains of Passage
Named after Jean Auel’s novel and written while I was reading the Clan of the Cave Bear series.
The landscapes in those books shaped the direction of this track, pushing it into a prehistoric-fiction twist on trancey techno.

🏙️ Avinguda Diagonal
Started as a sketch in Ableton Note while staying in Barcelona in January 2023, on a street of the same name. It evolved into the electro-hook-driven B-side you hear today.

Huge thanks to Mantissa for believing in these tracks, and to everyone who supported my releases this year 🙏🏻
I love the catalog they’re building and it’s an honour to be included! 🖤

Link to listen/purchase in the comments.
Let me know which one you’re feeling!🙂

My second EP, Normal Sensations, is officially out on all platforms!! 🌀🚀🥳

And it just so happens to coincide with my 4-year soberversary! (lol the timing/naming wasn’t intentional 🤪) I’ll post some links where you can find it in the comments 🙂

I honestly don’t think any of the music I released this year would exist without cutting out alcohol and recreational substances four years ago 🥲Thank you so much to all my friends who’ve supported me over the years! 💜💜💜

This is also the second release on Nickon Faith’s new label, Resonance Spectrum. When he asked me to send some tracks, I could already tell he had such a strong sonic vision (including a remix by one of my mentors, Lisene!), and I really wanted to build on that. I’ve been working on these tracks for years, and I’m so happy they found a good home☺️

It’s mostly a trance EP, with a left-field-y closer, and Beatport has already thrown it onto a couple of trance charts!! 🥳

Let me know which track you vibe with the most! ✨

It was an honour to be invited to contribute a mix to the Mantissa series- a platform I’ve been following and admiring for a long time!😻😃🥳

I leaned fully into my fav vibe of euphoric, housey bangers with a few left turns, plus some groovy, emotional, proggy tracks💫

The mix also features a few Toronto artists such as Dan Only, Yohei S, and Ficilio (including tracks from the new Place: Toronto EP on Air Texture) And of course, I had to include a track from my new EP as well! 😛

Huge thanks to Mantissa for having me, and if you haven’t yet, definitely check out the music on their label. So much great stuff!🥳
