RememberThe400

🇨🇦 What a way to close out Freedom Month! ❤️🤍💙

Today, we gathered at Toronto City Hall for the Remember the 400 Flag Raising — a powerful moment of reflection, celebration, community and pride.

We were honoured to be joined by Amanda Ingrid Coombs, who shared an inspiring message about equity, responsibility and the role we all play in building stronger communities.

The afternoon also came alive through powerful performances by Raychelle and Rayshawn, reminding us that our history isn’t only something we remember — it’s something we carry forward. ✨

From the Community Share & Give Back, to the Freedom Festival, and now our flag flying at City Hall, this month has been about honouring the past, celebrating how far we’ve come, and inspiring the next generation to keep moving forward.

To every volunteer, supporter, performer, partner and community member who showed up throughout August — thank you. You made this Freedom Month one to remember. ❤️

The events may be wrapping up, but the work continues.

We remember. We celebrate. We move forward — together.

WE’RE GOING LIVE TODAY! ❤️🤍💙

I’d make “TOMORROW!” the opening hook and position Keri’s Soca fitness/dance set as one of the reasons people need to be there. The caption should feel like the final energetic push, not simply repeat the flyer.

NEW JERSEY, WE SEE YOU! 👏🏾❤️

POV: Community impact is happening on BOTH sides of the border. 🇺🇸

While our Toronto team was getting ready, the Remember the 400 New Jersey team was behind the scenes doing the SAME—packing, preparing and showing up for their community for their August 8 Community Share & Give Back!

This is the part you don’t always see: the volunteers, the preparation, the teamwork and the hours that go into serving our communities.

Different cities. Same mission. One Remember the 400 community. ❤️
