What should community-led research focus on next? We want to hear from you. πŸ’¬
CAAT is bringing together community members to help shape the future of our research. Through a community focus group, you'll have the opportunity to share your experiences, identify the issues that matter most, and help set priorities for future community-based research.

Whether you're a newcomer, LGBTQIA+, living with HIV, a service provider, advocate, or someone passionate about improving health equity, your voice can help guide where we go next.

πŸ“ Focus groups (approx. 1.5 hours) will take place in August 2026 with a $100 honoraria provided
πŸ“§ Interested? Email [email protected] by August 14, 2026 to learn more and sign up.

πŸ“’ The Rainbow Resilience Needs Assessment Report is now available.
Over the past year, we partnered with LGBTQ+ immigrants, refugees, newcomers, and non-status (IRNN) individuals, alongside service providers across Southern Ontario, to better understand the barriers communities face when accessing HIV, HCV, sexual health, and related health and social services.

Drawing on the experiences of 198 participants and 31 partner organizations, this report highlights key challenges, community-informed solutions, and opportunities to build more affirming and culturally responsive systems of care.

Swipe through to explore some of the key findings, and visit our website (www.caat.link) to read the full report.

Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences and made this work possible. πŸ’œ

Sunday was a powerful reclamation of what Pride means to our communities β€” not a sanitized corporate party, but a liberatory movement emerging from community resistance & solidarity. Thank you to all who came and marched with us. Stay tuned for more from the event πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ
