Does anyone who follows this work in Public Health? We need you.
Keep the pressure on people. Don’t let up. I know there is an election coming up, but this is a long term problem that requires a multilayered solution. In the past, it’s all been short term fixes. Last year the reporters were here. This year nothing. Let’s make sure the City knows we care.

Remember, this is the river that goes into our lake and is our drinking water. We get treated water, wildlife doesn’t.

I did a bit more digging, wasn’t hard to find it all on line. For decades this has been an issue. A constant poisoning of the waterway combined with governmental lip service. There have always been good people fighting to save the Taylor Massey Creek, fighting to save the Don Valley River, and fighting to save our Lake Ontario but their numbers have been small in comparison to the huge population in our city. Hard fight to win if your voice is small. Report to @cityofto that toxic waste is still out in the open and draining into Taylor Creek.
