Hey Mom Noms

MOONCAKE SEASON 🌕🥮
Mid autumn festival is just around the corner which means it is mooncake season! There are so many different types of moon cakes out there from double yolk to no yolk, pork floss to lava custard and even savoury moon cakes.

Mooncakes signify unity due to its round shape and also resembles the roundness of the moon. Mooncakes were also said to be a part of rebellions mentioned in ancient Chinese history, where secret messages would be hidden inside the cake. Either way it is delicious and is a significant part of our history and culture.

Which moon cakes are you gonna try this year?
