Allison Rietta Art

Featured in ART SEEN Magazine ✨

I’m delighted to share that my work and practice are featured in the Autumn 2026 issue of ART SEEN Magazine.

The feature includes a conversation about the evolution of my work—from my early relationship with geometry to the ways sound, meditation, intuition and perception have gradually shaped the visual language I work with today.

It’s especially meaningful to see several works brought together across these pages, and to have the opportunity to speak about some of the ideas that exist beneath the surface of the paintings.

Thank you to ART SEEN and The Curator’s Salon for inviting me to share my work and for including me in this beautiful issue.

RAPTURE — NEW LIMITED EDITION

Released for the autumn equinox. ✨

Rapture is a study in balance and tension—saturated colour against translucent passages, hard edges against softness, symmetry interrupted by unexpected shifts.

There is an energy in this work that I have always loved. It feels joyful and vibrant, but also held in place by structure and stillness. And so the equinox—a moment of balance between light and darkness—felt like the perfect time to release it as a print.

Rapture is available in one size only, in a limited edition of just 10 prints.

24 × 20 in / 61 × 50.8 cm
Regular price: $360 CAD

🌟👉 To celebrate the release, the first 5 prints are available for $270 CAD.

Shipping to Canada, US, UK, Europe, Switzerland and Australia. Local pick in Toronto also available.

Available through the link in my bio.

Two ✌️ways to collect my prints!

When Venus Rose in the Sky

The title came from thinking about the feminine not as something delicate, but as a force—women rising, gathering strength and becoming fully visible. Venus appears as both beauty and power, while circles rise, intersect and overlap within the composition. I was interested in creating a sense of strength and softness existing together.

✨ SERIES HIGHLIGHT

Some paintings ask to be made quickly.

These three asked me to slow down.

Built through coloured pencil and soft pastel, colour develops gradually—layer upon layer, mark upon mark. Geometry repeats, overlaps and shifts, while transparency creates colours that weren’t there when I began.

It’s an incredibly slow way of working. And lately, that’s exactly what I love about it.

A little milestone worth celebrating ✨ My first GoodMood sale—and four prints found their way to a new home. Feeling very grateful today. 🤍

Studio views 🙌 Making space for bigger work. Every inch is currently under negotiation.

For me, collecting art is a form of considered curation for your home—choosing pieces slowly and intuitively, and surrounding yourself with work that continues to reveal something over time.
