We play with pretty plants all day… oh and design some cool pots and tchotchkes.

The Cube is a small 3-inch ceramic plant pot with a drainage hole and saucer, sized for desks, windowsills, office tables, and just about any small surface where a small plant is often the most reliable coworker. Thirteen years ago it sold out at Chive's first Philadelphia Flower Show, which nobody had prepared for, since all the planning had gone into selling and none into selling out. The Cube has never brought this up, and it has never needed to. 🌿

🌿 The plant shake has always belonged to Ryan. It has a following. Today, Shawn decided he was ready.
For the record, the rest of our Toronto plant shop remains unshaken. Tall floor plants, monsteras, snake plants, ficus, and every popular houseplant you’ve been meaning to buy — all here, all upright, all unaware they could be next.
Ryan has been informed. He is taking it well, publicly.

Money can't buy happiness — but have you tried cohabiting with fresh plants? 🪴 Because we'd argue that's basically the same thing, and we have a lot.
Come see us at the studio.

Can you tell Ryan is feeling top-notch?! Just a happy and his very very large plant. We need Ryan's energy and what can only be described as unhinged joy.
Honestly? Same. Come find your plant and your moment at Chive Plant Studio.

🌿 The face. The stance. The dramatic pause. Ryan has been practicing this moment all morning and he will not be wasting it.
And he's not wrong. The patio is full. The shop is full. That corner of your place you keep calling a "reading nook" could also be full — we have exactly what it needs and we are not sorry about it.
Big ones, small ones, the kind that make guests stop mid-sentence and ask where you got it. Come see Ryan. He has things to say about it.

🌿 Ryan is back with another signature plant shake!
There are many ways to care for a plant. Watering. Proper light. The occasional wipe-down. Ryan has elected a different path. The plants are fine. Probably. We are monitoring the situation.

🌿 Ryan has an important message for all. Ryan prepared his announcement and practiced his expression to address the plant community. He had something important to say:
WE HAVE A LOT OF PLANTS
Big ones, small ones, a truly unreasonable number of them.
