AI is only as useful as the systems it can connect to.
In wealth management, much of the value sits in integration. Meeting preparation should be informed by data across portfolio accounting and CRM systems, while actions and follow-ups should flow back into those systems without creating more manual work for advisors.
Without that connection, important context can get lost and opportunities for automation remain limited.
The technology matters. But making it work across the systems advisors already rely on is where the value comes together.

You don’t need a perfect foundation to start delivering value with AI.
Waiting six months or a year to build the foundation before tackling meaningful use cases can slow down progress when the technology already exists to move faster.
Instead, build both at the same time. Identify use cases that can deliver value in three to six months while incrementally strengthening the foundation needed to support what comes next.
It’s a bit like flying the plane while fixing the engine. Because in a world moving this quickly, organizations can’t afford to spend a year preparing without delivering value along the way.
