“Fat Mob is a massacre of the main stream of Rock music. Fat Mob is alive and won't go down easy. Fat Mob is the aftermath of a pillow fight."
Fat Mob is the aftermath of a pillow fight. Queens of the Stone Age met Frank Sinatra and created a terrible terrible thing called 'Fat Mob'. Instinctively Fat Mob defends itself at the waterhole. Fat Mob has your back. Sit back and indulge yourself in exceptional Rock n Roll. Half the stuff said by Fat Mob, you can write it off. The other half...write it down!”
- Chris Reed
In 2015, Chris Reed jammed with drummer Neil Lecourt under the working title of Smoke and Wrinkles. While rehearsing at Munition Street Sound House, Chris and Neil were joined by Matt Kilbourne on bass and later Alex Schwartz on violin. Since 2020 Fat Mob continues to celebrate Chris Reed both in life and art. Today, Fat Mob is comprised of members from 3 former bands of Chris:
The Reed Effect - Kirk Reed
exitseekers - Miguel Anciaes
Fat Mob - Neil Lecourt & Matt Kilbourne
Fat Mob continues to blend rock and fun, with live performances that will have you wondering if you’ve heard the tune before. A dynamic sound that answers the bell to any musical endeavour. Join the Mob as we march towards a future where everyone has a seat at the table and a spot on the dance floor.
