“S.O.A.P. DISH”: Playing the role of a “PDF” father, with Troy Crossfield in the role of my son, in the independent short film, “S.O.A.P. Dish” (Son of A Pe*****le).
Written, Produced and Directed by: Troy Crossfield () and Sheronna Osbourne () for “Crossfield House Production” ()

This role was the first, “lead” speaking part I’ve ever had as an actor. It was very intense, triggering and emotional for me. At one point of filming, I asked to stop filming because I started crying. I was a victim, and a now survivor of childhood sexual abuse. Acting in this role, triggered a lot of my pain, trauma and shame. At the same time, it was healing by playing the perpetrator that takes responsibility, accountability and apologizes for the pain and suffering he caused.

“S.O.A.P. Dish” will be one of the short films, featured at the “4th Annual Toronto Pan Afrikan Film Festival” () on Sunday Aug. 16th at the “Small World Centre” (); 180 Shaw St. in Toronto. For information on films, showings and purchasing tickets to TPAFF, visit: TPAFF.com

“SING ALONG”: Playing guitar and singing “Three Little Birds” (Bob Marley) with a train filled with “freedom riders” during the “Emancipation Day” train ride on the “Toronto Transit Commission” (TTC- ).
I usually don’t participate in “Emancipation Day” events however it felt wonderful to be among brothers and sisters, singing together in a positive energy and space.
Thanks to Jonathan Shaw () for filming this video.
