By now, some of you have figured it out.

But there’s something we haven’t told you.

Allison isn’t simply travelling.

She’s been walking the streets, tasting the food, meeting people, exploring hotels, asking questions, taking notes and looking at this extraordinary place through a very particular lens:

What would it feel like to experience this with Divine?

Because this is how our journeys begin.

Long before the itinerary. Long before the reservations. Long before we pack our bags.

Someone goes ahead. Someone looks closer. And slowly, a journey begins to take shape.

Allison is there right now doing exactly that.

And on Monday, we’ll finally tell you why.

Our next Divine destination will be revealed Monday.

And yes, some of you already know ;)

Look a little closer.

Every destination begins to reveal itself in the details.

The way a meal is prepared. The rhythm of a street. A garden tended with extraordinary care. The view around the next corner. The traditions that have quietly endured for generations.

Allison has been paying attention to all of it.

And taking a lot of notes.

Because there’s something we haven’t told you yet.

She’s not simply travelling.

She’s exploring. Meeting people. Asking questions. And imagining what it might be like to experience this place together.

We have a feeling some of you already know exactly where she is.

If you do, keep our secret just a little longer.

One more postcard to come.

Then, Monday, all will be revealed.

WHY VIETNAM?
Some places reward you for looking closer.

People often ask how we choose a destination.

The answer has never been, “Because everyone is talking about it.”

We look for places that offer something deeper.

Places that invite curiosity. That have stories to tell. That reward you for slowing down, looking closer and allowing yourself to be surprised.

Vietnam is one of those places.

It is a country of extraordinary contrasts.

The energy of Hanoi in the morning. The quiet beauty of Ha Long Bay. The lantern-lit streets of Hoi An after dark.

Centuries of history alongside a country constantly moving forward.

Street food and extraordinary dining. Ancient traditions and contemporary creativity. Bustling streets and moments of complete stillness.

And everywhere, people and stories that give a place its heart.

When we began creating our Vietnam journey, we weren’t interested in simply asking, “What should we see?”

We asked, “How do we want our travellers to experience it?”

Slowly enough to notice.

Personally enough to connect.

Curiously enough to discover something unexpected.

That’s why our group is intentionally small.

It’s why we’ll experience Ha Long Bay aboard a private yacht, explore in ways that bring us closer to everyday life, and leave room for the conversations, meals and spontaneous moments that so often become our favourite memories.

Next month, that journey becomes real.

We’ll arrive in Vietnam with another wonderful group of Divine travellers, ready to experience everything we’ve spent so long imagining.

We have room for two more.

Fifteen Years Later:

There are moments when fifteen years feels like a very long time. And others when it feels as though everything began only yesterday.

Recently, we found ourselves looking through old travel photographs.

The destinations were beautiful, of course. But what caught our attention wasn’t the scenery.

It was the people.

The laughter around dinner tables. Friends leaning together over maps. Guides telling stories. The conversations and unexpected moments that somehow became the ones we remember most.

Fifteen years ago, we hoped Divine might become a company people trusted.

Today, we hope it has become something more.

A community.

We’ve watched travellers return year after year. Some have explored half the world with us. Others joined us once and somehow became lifelong friends.

And every journey has left its imprint not only on our travellers, but on us.

We’ve learned that wonderful itineraries matter, but warm hospitality matters even more. That guides become friends. Chefs become storytellers. And the people we travel with are ultimately what make a journey unforgettable.

And the story isn’t finished yet.

Next month, Divine travels to Vietnam.

Another small group. Another table to gather around. Another collection of stories we haven’t lived yet.

And beyond Vietnam, something incredibly special is waiting… a destination that has been part of our story for a very long time.

To everyone who has travelled with us, trusted us or dreamed about joining us one day: thank you.

You’ve shaped this story far more than you know.

Protecting the Edge

Seeing a polar bear in the wild is something we’ll never forget.

But understanding what it takes for polar bears and people to coexist in Churchill gave that experience an entirely different meaning.

During our journey, we spent time learning about the delicate balance between conservation and community and the work being done to protect both.

Giving back has always been an important part of our Divine journeys, and in Churchill we were proud to be among the first contributors to a grassroots initiative between Polar Bears International and the Churchill Bear Smart Program.

The focus is education and prevention: reducing human-bear conflict, protecting polar bears and helping keep the Churchill community safe.

One of our travellers perhaps said it best:

“We feel enriched and grateful. Learning about wildlife and Indigenous peoples was impactful. The education portions made this trip special. It is wonderful that you support local workers & artists.”

For us, meaningful travel isn’t only about seeing extraordinary places.

It’s about understanding them, respecting them and, whenever we can, leaving something positive behind.

The Best Part of Coming Home? Reading This.

We’ve been home from Churchill for a few days now, and while the photographs are wonderful, it’s the words from our travellers that have stayed with us.

That last sentence means so much to us.

Because when we design a Divine journey, we’re thinking about much more than where we’ll go and what we’ll see.

We’re thinking about the people who will experience it together.

A small group changes the way you travel. Conversations happen naturally. Meals are shared. Someone you didn’t know a few days ago becomes the person you’re laughing beside as you chase the Northern Lights at 11 o’clock at night.

You arrive as travellers.

Somewhere along the way, you become a group.

And sometimes, you come home with new friends.
