Founded in 2009, Village Community Foundation is building thriving communities rooted in quality education. Our new model of sustainable education integrates quality education with healthcare and community development. Our school Global Pathways School in rural India supports a community of over 550 students and their families experiencing multidimensional poverty. Through our programs, we empower our community to create pathways to opportunity. Our approach to education is to create independent thinkers who are curious and engaged with the world around them. Our success comes from leveraging our founders’ lifelong experience as educators, while employing local professionals to implement our programs. Today, our school is a nurturing and thriving environment where children and their families have their needs met, and can access the very best in education, health and community support.

Behind every student’s success lies our dedicated educators! With 18 teachers holding a Bachelor’s in Education, 5 with a Master’s in Education, and 2 with diplomas for Teaching English as a Second Language, our team brings a wealth of knowledge and qualifications to the classroom.

From 2017-2023, GPS students have proudly maintained total exam scores of 85% or higher. This achievement speaks volumes about our students’ dedication to learning, as well as the incredible support and guidance offered by our teachers. Way to go, GPS!

Fifteen years ago, GPS started its journey in a humble two-room matchbox factory with just 40 students. Today, GPS resides on a beautiful campus, featuring a 60,000 sq. ft., three-story building with 62 classrooms. With the successful completion of the 23-24 school year GPS has now supported its 5th graduating class!

15 years ago, the Village Community Foundation set out on a mission to empower children to forge pathways out of poverty. Through exceptional education, healthcare and community development initiatives, GPS ensures that every student has the chance to thrive. With the completion of the 2023-2024 school year, we’re proud to celebrate 15 years of making a positive impact in the lives of our students and our community.
