Drawing on his experience growing up in Toronto, Devron’s Pouyan Safapour recently penned an article for Maclean’s Magazine discussing that while the pre-construction condo sales model was once well-intentioned, it has created a major structural flaw due to reliance on investor buyers, and as a result given rise to building condominium housing in Canada that isn’t what people need or want. Pouyan proposes that the time is now to re-think this model, so that we can pave a new path for the future of housing in Canada.
