VISO Lighting

Fifty four hand blown lily pads, suspended like a canopy caught mid bloom.

At Cocody in Houston, VISO worked with Nina Magon Studio to bring the restaurant's art deco vision to life. The centrepiece is a mirrored canopy of individually threaded glass lily pendants, each one hung to catch the light and expand the sense of scale across the room.

A difficult problem sat somewhere quieter. Inside the w**e cellar case, the fixtures beneath each shelf were generating heat, which needed to be managed carefully so close to the bottles. At the same time, the light itself needed to read as soft and even rather than harsh. Solving both problems meant calibrating the distance between the fixture and shelf and choosing the right materials in between, until the temperature settled and the glow evened out.

Because the most technical work is often the part no one notices. It just quietly does its job.

Our idea of a great room in a restaurant rarely starts with the menu.

It starts with how the light falls across the table. How quiet the corners feel. How long you find yourself wanting to stay once the bill arrives.

Clio. Beaumont Kitchen. Daphne. Black and Blue. Four very different rooms, one shared instinct. Light as mood, never an afterthought.

This is the kind of glow we chase, and the one VISO works to create in every room we touch.

Some fixtures echo their setting. This chandelier answers back. ✨

VISO was approached by Studio Munge to design-engineer a bespoke lighting package for Ember Grill at The Ray Hotel in Delray Beach. At its centre is an oversized chandelier, its petals fanning outward in an organic silhouette drawn from the surrounding landscape.

Not the palm fronds you'd expect from a South Florida address. The petals read as a seed pod, sun-dried rather than sun-drenched, every angle engineered to hold that weathered character rather than a lush one.

The best details aren't the ones you expect. The ones that stay with you will compliment the surrounding features, rather than copy them.

Modern chic, brought home.

VISO's Wandering Star and Capella collections are known for shaping the mood of hospitality spaces, so at Isole Villa in Orlando, we let them do what they do best in a residential setting.

Overhead in the main living space, a cluster of Capella pendants floats above the entertainment area, each glossy dome: copper, white, black — catching the light a little differently. The effect is sculptural but unhurried, a fixture arrangement that feels composed rather than crowded.

In the kitchen, the Wandering Star in a clean gloss white finish takes the spotlight, grounding the room with the same design-forward confidence.

Together, they prove a point we love making: collection lighting can carry the drama of a bespoke installation, and turn a home into something that feels curated, layered, and alive. ✨
