Introduction to the Book of Mark.
The Gospel of Mark is considered by modern scholars to be the earliest of the four canonical gospels, Mark was written approximately 40 years after the death of Jesus, The Gospel of Matthew was written roughly 50 to 60 years after the death of Jesus, Gospel of Luke was written approximately 55 to 65 years after the death of Jesus, Gospel of John was written maybe 70 years after Jesus death.
It is believed that Matthew, and Luke, used the Gospel of Mark as a source for writing their gospel. The Book of Mark is considered to be the first biography of Jesus, there's no genealogy of Jesus in The Book of Mark, no virgin birth story of Jesus in The Book of Mark, no Incarnation story of Jesus in The Book of Mark, where the Holy Ghost conceived Jesus in Mary's womb, and God became man.
The question is, why Mark the first gospel writer never mentioned none of these things? it makes persons wonder if some of these fanciful stories about Jesus was a later development by the early Christian community?
Is the Christian Satan a real person? The Hebrew interpretation of Satan is adversary, opposer, or accuser, Satan is a title, not a personal name. Satan is not a person, every bad situation or circumstance is a Satan, Satan cannot force a human being to take action to do bad or good.
People knowingly choose to do wrong, The Christian Satan that force people against their will to do wicked evil things is not real. The doctrine of Satan was developed between the 6th century BCE and the 1st century CE, shaped heavily by the Babylonian Exile and the Second Temple period.
Early Christians use the concept of hell, and Satan as tools to encourage repentance and conversion, I personally don't believe the Christian Satan, and burning in hell forever and ever is real, I believe every human being have their own internal Satan, it's time for the Christian Community to stop blaming Satan and take responsibility for their action. Each person needs to control their internal Satan and make this world a better place for us to live.
Thinking about the only true and Living God.
Jeremiah 10:10, But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God and the everlasting King. John 17:3. This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 1 Corinthians 8:6, Yet for us there is but one God, the Father. Deuteronomy 6:4, The Shema, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
For one year I have been looking for a Church to associate with, so I visit six different churches in Toronto, North York, Mississauga areas. I recently spent 4 months in Grenada, so I visited six different churches in Grenada, I came to realize that all of the churches I visited so far only talked about Jesus as God, there’s no direct reference to God the Father who is the creator of all of humanity.
These are the questions that came into my mind. Is God the Father became too old to be God and he is place in a back seat? did Jesus replace God the father as God? when did Jesus replace God the father as God?
God's personal name occurs nearly 7,000 times in the original Hebrew texts of the Bible, (God) appear over 1,000 times in the New Testament, none of these references is talking about Jesus. When we reading the Bible and the Bible mention God, it's not talking about Jesus, it's a direct reference to God the Father the creator of all humanity.
