If you think having acne means your hormones are out of balance, it’s because you scrolled a little too hard.

The crazies of the internet found you.
And infected you with misinformation.

The ones who don’t know what hormones do, what they’re for, and that they fluctuate—in everyone, all the time, including in people with clear skin.

❌seed cycling and ❌peppermint tea aren’t gonna do anything for you…

👋You’re not supposed to “balance” your hormones.

It’s like wanting your heart to beat at the same rate — and then you walk up a flight of stairs.

It’s become a bit scary how comfortable humans who are not endocrinologists comment on random peoples hormones…

You might have scrolled so much that you now believe your acne is hormonal.

‼️Except, hormonal acne isn’t a thing.

I know, I know, you’re shocked to hear it. 🙃

But hormones don’t cause acne.

They do lots of cool stuff, but they don’t *cause* acne.

It’s just something people say, and it spread so much that everyone repeats it.

But it’s a myth.

There’s no basis in biology for it.

When you see people point to “hormonal acne” on the jaw?

Yeah, it’s usually not even acne.

I can keep blowing your mind about skin…See my Results highlights for years of transformations!📸📸📸

(Without seed cycling, peppermint tea, or thousand dollar “hormone balancing protocols”)

There are laaaaayers of myths out there and if you’re open to getting your clear skin back and sustaining it for years…

Then you’re gonna have to unlearn them! 🤩

🧠Like food doesn’t cause acne, and acne-prone skin isn’t a skin type it’s a marketing term.

If that sounds exciting, welcome 👋

O

Acne-causing nor acne-clearing foods don’t exist.

Yes, food doesn’t cause acne.

Everything from milk, cheese, cookies, even FRUIT has been vilified by some on the internet…

Claiming that they causes acne.

And, at one point in my life I believed it and was literally afraid of dairy and desserts.

Luckily, I spent a lot of time learning about skin health (over a decade), and have worked with 2000+ women on their complex skin issues…

After they’d already worked with:
✔️multiple dermatologists (1-7)
✔️aestheticians
✔️nutritionists (“acne nutritionists”)🚩🚩🚩
✔️”acne” coaches (people who call everything acne)🚩🚩🚩
✔️naturopaths (“functional”/“integrative”/“aletrnative” practitioners who make up diagnoses and heal them with food restriction and unregulated supplements)🚩🚩🚩

And I couldn’t ignore the fact that food restriction did absolutely F**K ALL for acne or similar-looking skin conditions.

💣It only ruined people’s relationship to food.

What actually moved the needle?
✅know-how (respecting and supporting biology)
✅well-formulated products that suit your skin
✅consistency
✅patience
✅shifting from an acne-sufferer identity to the identity of a person who isn’t obsessed with her skin

Turns out, you can unintentionally create all kinds of LOCALIZED problems on your skin.

And our skin deserves strategic support and protection on the surface, where it faces the outside world and your (sometimes insanely destructive) skincare habits.

If your skin looks like a before photo — it’s easy to convince yourself that there’s something wrong with you inside.

“when you hear hooves think horses, not zebras”

When your skin is uncomfortable or inflamed, think skincare habits — what you put on your skin matters, and how you take care of it everyday will have concequences, whether you know it or not.

You can learn here. 🤝

I call it the curse of gorgeous skin 👇

You have gorgeous skin.

So you lean over the sink to look at it up close…

Where you find:
🔍pores
🔍lines
🔍peach fuzz
🔍bumps
🔍an occasional clogged pore or pimple

GASP!!! 😱

And then you go, “How do I get rid of pores?!”

We’re not going down that rabbit hole 🕳️

Because YOU HAD GORGEOUS SKIN, the only thing that changed was how closely you look at it.

Instead of chasing hacks and solutions promoting “glass”, “dolphin”, “airbrushed” skin, you’re supposed to take TWO STEPS AWAY FROM THE MIRROR.

You have to reason with yourself when the predatory marketing makes you feel like you’re not good enough.

🤯Maybe you don’t need a new product, maybe you need a new perspective.

Maybe you need to like and accept that normal, human skin looks whack up close…and stop leaning across the sink.

Maybe this lesson is hella important, since I’ve worked with thousands of women on various severe skin conditions…

How did most of them start?

With the gorgeous skin curse and leaning over the sink. 🪞

Yup.
