Remember how at the beginning of the year I said I felt a little lost and needed to figure some things out?

Well… I did.

The issue is my full-time job. And it’s not even that it has nothing to do with music. The real problem is something else.

Freelance work is simply my format. The way I used to work in China. I remembered why it suits me best:

1️⃣ First of all, you’re your own boss. You choose which jobs to take and which ones to skip. No one controls you or tells you what to do.

2️⃣ Another big thing is the way people treat you. When someone hires you as a freelancer, they choose you — and usually try to make sure you’re comfortable and happy.

3️⃣ The work itself feels more pleasant. Sometimes you show up, sing a few songs, and that’s it.

But the biggest realization was this:

4️⃣ I hate working in the same place for too long.
Freelance work means different places, different people, different energy every time. And that keeps things interesting.

With contract or office jobs, everything quickly becomes repetitive. I realized that the only type of regular job that might work for me is a hybrid job — part home, part office. Because sitting in an office every day… honestly feels like I’m dying there.

So for now, freelance work still feels like the best option for me. Of course, it has its downsides too — but I’ll talk about those later.

Only 4 months until I become a wife… and almost the entire wedding is already planned — by me. How many energy and times go into creating one single day. But I’ve loved every part of it.

At the same time, I’m working full-time in an office, writing new songs, developing my music, teaching vocals, and building everything step by step.

This month I finally made a decision that had been quietly bothering me since the end of December. It feels so freeing when something clicks inside and you just know.

And… I got my first Botox ever 🙈 A little self-care. A little “why not?”

Everything feels aligned. Busy — but aligned. Challenging (maybe) — but exciting.

Life is moving. And I’m moving with it.
