Canada has held its first Express Entry draw under the revamped Transport Occupations category! ✈️🚗🔧

This is an important development for professionals working in Canada’s transportation and aviation sectors.
Among the occupations eligible under the Transport category are:
✈️ NOC 72600 — Air pilots, flight engineers and flying instructors
🚗🔧 NOC 72410 — Automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics and mechanical repairers
🛩️🔧 NOC 72404 — Aircraft mechanics and aircraft inspectors
⚡🛫 NOC 22313 — Aircraft instrument, electrical and avionics mechanics, technicians and inspectors
If your work experience falls under one of these NOC codes, the Transport category could provide an additional opportunity to receive an Invitation to Apply for Canadian Permanent Residence through Express Entry. 🇨🇦
⚠️ Being employed in one of these occupations does not automatically guarantee an invitation. Candidates must first qualify for Express Entry and meet the specific requirements of the Transport category. Eligible candidates are then ranked according to their CRS scores.
The first draw with a CRS of 470 shows why category-based selection can be extremely important for candidates whose occupations are specifically targeted by IRCC.

Effective August 4, 2026, Ontario has officially opened intake for the Ontario Workforce Priority Stream (OWPS), the first active pathway under the redesigned Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
Eligible foreign workers can now submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and compete for a provincial nomination that may lead to Canadian permanent residence.
Key highlights:
• Intake is now open.
• Applicants must generally have a permanent full-time job offer from an Ontario employer.
• The stream is open to occupations across TEER 0–5.
• Candidates are ranked using Ontario’s new points-based selection system.
• Invitations will be issued to the highest-ranking eligible candidates.
The ranking system considers multiple factors, including:
• work region;
• education;
• language ability;
• work experience;
• TEER level;
• occupational category;
• wage offered;
• and other selection criteria.
This marks a major milestone in Ontario’s immigration reform. After the previous OINP streams were closed, many applicants were waiting for the launch of the new pathway. The intake is now officially open, and the first invitation rounds could follow soon.

Нет.
Эта категория создана для очень узкого круга специалистов.
Кандидат должен:
✔ иметь не менее 10 лет военной службы;
✔ соответствовать требованиям одной из программ Express Entry;
✔ получить официальное предложение о службе от Canadian Armed Forces минимум на 3 года;
✔ пройти все иммиграционные и военные проверки безопасности.
Зачем Канаде это нужно?
Вооруженные силы страны уже несколько лет испытывают нехватку кадров.
Особенно требуются:
• военные врачи;
• медсестры;
• пилоты;
• инженеры;
• другие высококвалифицированные специалисты.
Подготовка таких кадров занимает годы, поэтому Канада решила привлекать уже опытных профессионалов через иммиграционную систему.
Почему пригласили только 4 человека?
Потому что одновременно выполнить все требования крайне сложно.

A Manager usually leads one department or business function.

Education and experience 🎓
Management occupations generally require:
📌 relevant university or college education;
📌 several years of progressively responsible experience.
Senior management positions usually require:
📌 extensive management experience;
📌 experience supervising other managers;
📌 strategic decision-making authority.
For immigration purposes, IRCC focuses mainly on whether your experience matches the NOC lead statement and most of the main duties.
