I’ve got another cute little 6 x 6 on a cradled board to share. Inspired by roads, paths and laneways I am always taking pictures wherever I travel. (Sometimes I am the driver of the vehicle too which makes it a little dangerous.)

As Far As The Eye Can See 6 x 6 is now available on my website.

This corner store caught my attention 12 years ago when I first moved back to Toronto and began my initial series of old store fronts. No longer a variety store, this building maintains the facade which appeals to my love of Toronto and preserving the neighbourhood landmarks.

I love taking an evening walk through the city in the summer. The fresh flowers spill out onto the sidewalk offering colourful and fragrant elements to my evening walks. These are memories of Toronto that I want to preserve. As the city grows up, I’m not sure how many of these will stay.

Open Late 24 x 24. Available through

The gentle lapping of water on the shore, the sound of the loom call from across the lake, the beauty of colours reflected in the water and a summer breeze in the trees.
Can you get used to this?

If you own a dog, you know.
Dogs just do their thing. They love their walks, and their joy brings us joy. They appear to pose for photos but they’re just waiting for your next move.
Black Dog 46 x 46 is available through in Invermere BC.
I love the black silhouette of the dog. Just waiting for a cue to run ahead. 🐕‍🦺

I’m celebrating my Mother’s Day in BC with my son and his girlfriend. My three kids live all across the country from Vancouver to Toronto and Fredericton. I only get a chance to visit all 3 of them together once in a while, so I’m grateful for family weddings especially because I get to see them together and I then get to take a photo. This photo, taken 3 years ago is a treasure!
I’m proud to call myself their mom, and visits with them are amazing.

I’m also missing my own mom today 🩷

Happy Mother’s Day!!

A painting evolves through a series of ‘what if’s’. You place an object here, another there, you add a colour here, change it again and again. I typically paint with lots of colour, but this piece called for a monochromatic palette. It asked What If I paint with just black and white? Of course all my paintings start with an underpainting of red, orange or pink. So there are hints of pink poking through the background.
I love this unique piece, and it is available in my studio, but hasn’t been added yet to my website! If you’d like to see it message me!

The country roads, the colours in the fall and the shadows they cast are so inspiring. I love to be walking on days like this, and being surrounded by these elements.
The Magic Of Being Here is available at Crescent Hill Gallery in Mississauga.

I’ve got a few landscapes available for those of you who love to look at trees 🌳🌳🌳
Who else is excited to see the leaves popping out of the trees this spring? My favourite time of year because it means longer days, and summer is on its way.
