Kelly Jane
Building a second income in my 50s wasn't the plan. Neither was letting a date on a calendar decide my future.

You don’t have to hate your job to want something more.
Sometimes it’s not about leaving the life you built.
It’s about looking ahead and realizing you’d like a little more choice in what comes next.
That’s why I started at 54.
And two years later, I’m very glad I didn’t talk myself out of trying something completely new.
If you’re a Gen X woman who’s been thinking about what else might be possible for you, follow along.
Curious what I’m actually doing? Comment YES and I’ll send you the details.

I saw other women building an income online and that was pretty much the thought I had.
Why not me?
I was in my 50s. I had a career I loved. I had zero background in digital marketing. But I could learn.
So I did.
Now I’m building something alongside my teaching career that gives me more options for whatever comes next.
If you’re a Gen X woman who keeps seeing other women doing something new and wondering if you could too, you’re in the right place.
Follow Kelly Jane I High Ticket Sales Coach. You might be more capable of this than you think.

I started an online business at 54 with zero experience, and I’ve changed my mind about a LOT since then.
I wasn’t too old.
I didn’t need to be good at social media.
And wanting to build something new didn’t mean I had to be unhappy with the life I already had.
I’m 56 now, still a full-time teacher, still learning, and still building.
Turns out, you can love the chapter you’re in and still be curious about what you could create next.
If you’re a Gen X woman wondering whether you’ve missed your window to try something new, follow along. I’m sharing what I’m learning as I go.

I don’t think our generation did anything wrong.
We followed the plan we were handed. Get educated. Build a career. Work hard. Raise the family.
Paid the mortgage. Save for retirement.
Keep going.
And honestly, for a lot of us that plan created a really good life.
But I think something changes when you hit your 50s.
Retirement stops feeling like this far away thing you will deal with “someday.”
The kids start needing you differently. There are grandkids involved.
You notice how quickly the last decade disappeared.
You price the trip.
You look at the pension.
You start thinking about what another 10 or 15 years of working actually means.
And suddenly the question isn’t, “Am I grateful for my life?”
Of course I am.
The question becomes, “Is this still how I want to do the next part?”
I don’t want to blow up the life I built.
I want more control inside of it.
More experiences.
More flexibility.
More ability to say yes without immediately calculating vacation days or whether it fits into the budget.
If you’re Gen X and you’ve started thinking differently about what the next 10 years could look like, follow along Kelly Jane I High Ticket Sales Coach
And send this to the friend you’ve had the “how are we already this age?” conversation with 😂

I didn’t start talking about this online because I thought everyone should do it.
I started because two years ago, I was the woman watching someone else and wondering, “Could I actually do that?”
I was 54, a full-time teacher, and had zero experience building a business online.
I took a look. I learned how it worked. And I’m very glad I gave myself the chance to find out instead of deciding it wasn’t for me before I even understood it.
Now, when I share what I’m doing, it’s because I know there’s another Gen X woman watching me with the same questions I had.
I’m Kelly Jane, and I share what building an online income in your 50s actually looks like.
Curious? Follow along. You can decide for yourself.

What happens if I decide I’m too old to build an income online?
Yeah... I wasn’t willing to find that out.
I started at 54 with zero digital marketing experience and no clue how any of this worked. just decided I was willing to learn.
Now I’m 56, still building, still learning and very glad I didn’t let my age make the decision for me.
Because maybe the question isn’t “Am I too old?”
Maybe it’s “Why not me?”
I’m Kelly Jane, and I share what building an online income in your 50s actually looks like.
