📸 Aga Khan Museum Tour & Picnic at Edwards Garden

Near the end of August last month, we took our Seniors to the beautiful Khan Museum where they learned about old and new Muslim art.

💃🏻 We then ended the day at Edwards Garden, sharing meals with one another on picnic blankets, playing games, and - as always - dancing Zumba.

Thanks to all our senior community for their support and for making all our trips together memorable and fun!

🚌 We will see you this weekend for our 1000 Islands tour in Kingston, Ontario!

🎬 And THAT concludes our AGM!

Thank you to our Board of Directors, Community Members, Volunteers, Friends and Family, for attending this very special annual meeting. ❤️

Special thank you to our Seniors Group for their two Zumba performances, high energy, and enthusiasm while “motioning” and “seconding” throughout the second half of today’s program.

At this AGM, KMC welcomed three new members to our Board of Directors, congratulated our previous Finance Manager Rene Ventura and thanked him for his dedication and years of service to our organization, and awarded our Placement Student, Pablo Perez , with the Volunteer of the Year certificate.

2025-2026 was another amazing year for KMC. Despite all that we have went through as an organization, the outpouring of support from our community members has remained consistent and strong. We are so grateful to all of you for helping to make Kababayan the organization it is today!
