Great session with the talented team at the King Township! We had an engaging discussion about the critical role of certified engineering technicians and technologists in building and maintaining safe, reliable public infrastructure.

The conversation centered on:

We also dug into 's Municipal Infrastructure Designations (mii and mica), specialist credentials built for exactly the work municipalities like King do every day. For the Township, that means independently verified expertise on capital projects, stronger risk management, and a team positioned ahead.

College Outreach Update!!!

The most important day of an engineering career might be the very first one.

Last week, was proud to be the lead sponsor behind two remarkable events:

Humber Polytechnic's First Year Engineering Orientation: welcoming hundreds of new students across Engineering Technology, B.Eng., and Architectural Technology programs.

Conestoga College's School of Engineering & Technology Orientation & Student BBQ: where our Grand Valley Chapter and the Conestoga student chapter provided critical support on the ground, connecting with incoming students.

Why does a professional association show up before the first lecture?

Because every conversation at our table, on stage, and in every connection made, every prize handed out, every question answered sent the same message to these students:

You're not just enrolling in a program. You're entering a profession. And there's a community of certified engineering technicians and technologists across Ontario ready to walk that road with you.

Some investments pay off next quarter. This one pays off for decades, in the students who become certified professionals, the professionals who become mentors, and the mentors who welcome the next generation the way we welcomed them this month.
