I am a fairly private person. Not only do I rarely post photos of myself on my socials, but I rarely talk about myself at all. I'm having a health crisis at the moment that has effectively put my ability to work at a stand-still.

43 years ago I had surgery where they implanted something that saved my life. Now it's broken and disintegrating in my body. One of the ways I can find relief is a mastectomy and the Ontario government healthcare only covers some of the cost, leaving me with a $4,000 medical bill plus the cost of recovery time.
