Vahn’s career began in the construction field working on sites at a young age. After receiving his Civil Engineering Technology Diploma from Seneca College, he gained valuable experience holding various positions in the civil engineering/consulting and construction sectors:

● Quality Control Supervisor, 1.5 yrs
● Construction Site Supervisor, 4 yrs
● Construction Manager, 2 yrs

His education, work experience, and a passion for helping people laid an ideal base for his expansion into the area of Home/Property Inspection. From there, his expertise has expanded into various specialized services to further enhance his reputation as a reputable consultant. Vahn started performing home inspections in 2001 and earned his Registered Home Inspector (R.H.I.) He has performed thousands of home/commercial property inspections to date. His personal home renovation project was featured in the Toronto Star newspaper, Homes Section (cover story) on September 29, 2005. He was interviewed by CBC News as an industry expert on July 25, 2014 to comment on a fatal construction-related accident that occurred in Toronto, Ontario. Vahn was also interviewed by and contributed to a story in the National Post regarding GTA buyers waiving home inspections in a hot real estate market on May 13, 2021 (Homes section).
