Everytime I personally ran away from something that scared me, it only made the problem even worse.
The moment I decide to tackle something face on. The problem becomes a learning experience. And a lot of growth happens from there
This short was inspired by another short I saw on IG and it resonated with me in many ways outside of the horror aspect to it.

And that’s a wrap on The Note Writer. 🎬❤️
Being able to bring an idea to life, tell stories, and spend a day doing what we’re passionate about is something I’ll never take for granted. It’s truly a blessing.
Every film teaches me something new, introduces me to incredible people, and reminds me why I fell in love with filmmaking in the first place.
The Note Writer is officially wrapped.
Here’s to following our passion, creating stories we believe in, and hopefully making many, many more together. 🎥
Directors on set for no reason…..sometimes I need to feel like I’m actually doing work aswell.
Sometimes the actors are absolutely nailing the performance… but as the director, I still have to find a way to look like I’m working. 🎬😂
For this shot, I used the godox_global RS100R with the BeamLight S20 to go from a cool moonlight look to a warm sunrise all from one setup.
The RS100R gave me full control over colour temperature and intensity, while the S20 focused the light into a tight beam with way more throw. It 40x the bare light.
As a filmmaker, I love gear that gives me more creative control without making the setup complicated.
