OMCA (The Ontario Motor Coach Association) is one of the largest travel and tourism-related associations in Canada, and the voice of private sector bus operators, inter-city bus lines, charter and coach tour companies in Ontario. Motor coach travel and tourism generates hundreds of millions of dollars per year in economic activity, making it one of the most important sectors in the tourism industry in North America. OMCA has over 1100 members and represents more than 75 bus operators, over 100 tour operators and some 800 affiliated sellers to the group tour industry including attractions, destinations, hoteliers and retail outlets across North America.

OMCA President Vince Accardi is in Québec City for the U.S.–Canada Motorcoach & Travel Summit, where industry leaders, tourism partners and government officials are discussing the most pressing issues facing motor coach and group travel on both sides of the border.
A key focus of the Summit is the release of new research examining the economic impact of motor coach and group travel across Canada. The findings confirm the industry’s vital role in supporting tourism businesses, local communities, employment and government revenues nationwide.
Reliable data strengthens our advocacy and helps ensure the value of motor coach and group travel is recognized in tourism, transportation and infrastructure decisions.
