The worth is in the music! 🪙 #CMB2WRLD Kev Rupee is a Sri Lankan-born rapper from Colombo, now based in Toronto, whose music blends Hip-Hop with various genres.
Rooted in the urban rhythms of his hometown and sharpened by his global perspective, he crafts songs that mainly explore introspection and struggle. Carrying the grit of a hustler and the vision of a trendsetter, Kev Rupee represents #CMB2WRLD, a movement to take Sri Lankan stories to the global stage. His sound balances soulful old-school energy with experimental trap and modern influences, reflecting both his Colombo upbringing and his new life in Toronto. With every track, Kev Rupee embodies the journey of a young artist transforming hardship into art, ambition into expression, and identity into legacy.
