Come join us at the UofT Multifaith Centre from Jan 25th to 29th to witness this very rare Tibetan Buddhist ritual of the creation of a sand mandala. This ritual will be performed by the very talented Tulku Dawa Gyalpo Rinpoche and Urgyen Gyalpo, there will also be special events held during the event days, in which you can learn about the meaning and origins of this extraordinary event. Event Schedule:
January 25-29 2016, 10AM - 5PM daily, FREE
Special Events:
JAN 25, 10 AM - 12 Noon, Tulku Dawa Gyalpo Rinpoche: Ceremony of opening the Mandala and Teaching on the Profound Meaning of Mandala. JAN 26, 2 - 4 PM, Film screening of the Documentary, Lord of the Dance, Destroyer of Illusion (1985). A film of the annual celebration of the Mani Rimdu 3 week festival held in Nepal, presided over by Trulshik Rinpoche. JAN 29 2 - 4 PM, Tulku Dawa Gyalpo Rinpoche - Celebration Offering Feast (Tsok) and Ceremony of Dissolution of the Mandala.

The mandala is nearly complete, and it is breathtaking!! It is really an amazing feeling to see it in person. The dissolution will take place tomorrow, most likely sometime in the morning or early afternoon. We hope to see you there!

So much progress on the mandala has been made!! It is amazing to see this colourful masterpiece slowly come to life! Please come by the 3rd Floor Quiet Room at the Multifaith centre this week from 10am - 5pm to be part of this experience.

The mandala creation has begun! Please come experience the amazing atmosphere here in the 3rd Floor Quiet Room at The Multifaith Centre, and watch the mandala be constructed at its very beginnings! We will be here everyday this week until 5pm.
