✨🎉 Join us for the launch of Wild West by acclaimed author Mark Anthony Jarman! Zak Jones, author of Fancy Gap, shortlisted for the Atwood Gibson Writer’s Trust Fiction Prize, will be the host of this special evening.

Wild West is a virtuosic new novel from a major Canadian talent, and the fourth book in our Flying Books publishing program. Jarman turns the Western expansion inside out, focusing the stark truth about the chaos and violence that swirled from Assiniboia to Montana in the late 1800s through the sensitive heart and mind of his unnamed narrator. Wild West is brutal and tender, honest and funny—a bona fide masterpiece by a writer whose work has won wide international acclaim.

MARK ANTHONY JARMAN is the author of twelve books, including Burn Man, 19 Knives, and Smash and Grab. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Jarman has taught at the University of Victoria, the Banff Centre, and University of New Brunswick. He is co-editor of the literary journal CAMEL.
