Compute Ontario

Official page for Compute Ontario, a not-for-profit organization that supports advanced computing, research data management, and research software in Ontario. Incorporated in 2014, Compute Ontario was designed to support the growing need for provincial collaboration of advanced computing to further essential research and innovation. Compute Ontario aids in centralizing strategy and planning functions for advanced computing assets such as hardware, software, highly qualified personnel, data management, storage and security and connectivity.

Compute Ontario leads the coordination of investments in technology, data, and skills development, to enable research, innovation, and creation that helps advance Ontario’s strategic priorities while enabling access to critical infrastructure for Ontario’s researchers.
