Origin Wellness

573 Danforth tour— the new lobby space!

Same same but different!

We have a lovely large window, tall ceilings, a little extra seating, and all the plants! 🌱

Our door has a ramp to help with entrances, and an accessible door opener, too!

We love people watching through our window in Greektown! It’s such a fantastic lively neighbourhood.

Poke your head in and say hi if the door is open 😊👋🏻

Let’s take a tour of the new Origin Wellness at 573 Danforth!

This is Room 3.

(Did you know we have 5 rooms now?!)

You’ll find Sue here Wednesday-Friday for osteopathic treatments and massage therapy.

Today Lainie is working her friendly flow and focused specific massage therapy in Room 3.

I opted for multiple shades of green throughout the clinic, with our signature “cozy cave” vibe now taking on a foresty feel.

Book your appointments online! We have fantastic practitioners in the space 7 days/week.

See you soon! 🤲🏼🌳🌱💚

Goodbye, 2017 Danforth. 🥲

Today we posted the sign on the door for the last time!

We are busy packing and moving and setting up our new space and can’t wait to see you at 573 Danforth on September 1.

So much love to everyone who walked through this door, and to the incredible team of practitioners who are making the move with me a few blocks west.

Have you booked with RMT Emily Crown Robinson lately? This veteran therapist added holistic facial treatments to her menu last year and you will love this dreamy experience. Covered under insurance, this service focuses on facial, neck, and scalp muscles, including the jaw, melting tension and delivering a blissful glow to your skin! You MUST try this.

1080 Dovercourt was our foundation, but it's time to really make our sweet home sweeter.

There will be no changes to appointments or operations during this transition period.

Our new space will be move-in ready sometime between July and end of Aug, and there will be lots of exciting updates to share along the way.

The new digs will be in the Dupont and Dufferin area, and the space is stunning ✨️

Reach out with any q's or concerns!

Thank you for helping us run a tight ship, making sure our people have full schedules and get paid. While also making sure you don't have to pay out of pocket for missed time!

Lots of folks are using up health benefits that expire at the end of the year, so we see an influx of new patients. Appointments get booked further in advance, and therefore, we experience a dramatic increase in cancelations, no-shows, and reschedules.

As a small biz with no reception, that's fully a practitioner-run company, we need you all to be extra mindful and be proactive in helping us with schedule-tetris to avoid income loss for our amazing staff, and disappointment for our wait list of patients who also need the care.

We enforce a strict cancelation policy, and insurance companies don't cover sessions that you didn't actually attend.

If you can't make it, or if you're sick, send a friend, family member, or colleague from an asymptomatic household. If the spot is filled by another patient, we don't bill the missed fee, hence the need for extra notice this time of year!

As always, we appreciate you all!

Emily (at our Danforth location) is also raising her rates just slightly.

As of oct 16th, we are increasing our rates to adjust for the rising costs of operating as a small business. The new rates will be applied to all bookings from that date forward, including all appointments booked prior to the update.

We deeply appreciate the support you've all provided over the last 11 years, and look forward to being here for many years to come.

Thank you for understanding!
