ROCHESTER

Why do I still do this?

After all the ups and downs and all the times I’ve wondered if making music even makes sense anymore…

I still end up right here.

In a room with somebody I respect, making something out of nothing.

I used to think I needed music to prove something. That all the years had to eventually add up to some big moment that made everything worth it.

I don’t even need that anymore.

I still want all the wins but I also believe there’s another level for me.

Truth is I’d probably make music even if none of that was attached to it.

Because somewhere between the idea and the finished song, im the best version being me

And that’s enough.
