Join us Sunday, September 27th from 12–4pm for a beautiful fall afternoon at Nutcracker Ridge Farm! Soak in the crisp air, admire the changing colours across the orchard, and pick your own fresh hazelnuts straight from the trees.

Kids and leashed dogs are always welcome — just please clean up after your pup!

Nutcracker Ridge Farm is about to unlock the gates and let you loose among our hazelnut trees for “Pick Your Own” season — because apparently we trust you with baskets and free rein. Watch this space for dates and times (we promise not to make you crack a code to find them.)

You’ll find us just north of the lovely town of Uxbridge — close enough for a day trip, far enough that you’ll feel like you’ve actually gone “to the country.”

How many nuts should you eat? 🤔

A healthy handful of nuts (about 30g) every day is recommended for good health. 🌰🥜

Why 30g? Much of the research linking nuts to health benefits is based on this amount, and the Australian Dietary Guidelines define a serve of nuts as 30g.

What does 30g look like? A handful, ¼ cup or 2 tablespoons of nut butter.

What if you want more? Research shows that enjoying around two handfuls of nuts a day may help lower cholesterol levels - without affecting body weight.
