BC Hydro has added a limited-time bonus rebate of up to $1,000 for eligible heat pump installations — on top of the regular rebates already available.

For qualifying homeowners switching from electric heat:

🏠 Whole-home heat pump: $4,000 rebate + $1,000 bonus
🌡️ Partial-home heat pump: $1,500 rebate + $500 bonus

Condo and apartment heat pump installations may qualify for bonus rebates too.

And as an extra perk, eligible customers can also enter for a chance to win 1 of 3 $5,000 prizes from BC Hydro.

The catch? Your new heat pump needs to be installed, invoiced and fully paid by October 31, 2026, and bonus funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
