Welcome back, Carga! It's great to have you as a Technology Partner again.

Formely known as ShipTracks, Carga is the AIS tracking, terminal management, and marine assurance platform that took shape after ShipTracks acquired Oceaneering's Maritime Intelligence Division in 2024, bringing OceanSMART, TerminalSmart, and PortVision under one roof. Their system lets a dispatcher drag a vessel straight into a Helm CONNECT job, and Competitor Jobs Automation tracks towage activity in your port without anyone typing it in.

They've been with us since 2019, and this year they'll have an exhibit table and a session.

Fairmont Empress, Victoria, BC. October 20-22.

Mobil is joining us as a Technology Partner at Helm Conference 2026!

Mobil's marine business covers lubricants and the analysis that goes with them: Mobilgard oils for everything from high-speed engines to two-stroke cylinders, plus Mobil Serv lubricant analysis and cylinder condition monitoring, supplied through a network of more than 650 ports. The idea is simple. Sample the oil, get a report, catch the wear before it turns into an overhaul.

Alan Suan will be presenting, and they'll have an exhibit table.

Fairmont Empress, Victoria, BC. October 20-22.

Here are some of the speakers at Helm Conference 2026!

Andrew Berthelson, Curtin Maritime
Capt. Dave Hammond, Houchens Insurance
Don Carlton, Bergan Marine Systems
Stephanie Higgins, Ingram Marine Group

Operators and partners on the same stage, which is the whole point. The people running the boats and the people building the tools around them, working the same problems from different seats.

More speakers to come.

Guess what? Marcura is a Technology Partner at Helm Conference 2026!

Marcura is the group behind DA-Desk, ShipServ, MarTrust, PortLog, and VesselMan: port cost management, procurement, payments, port intelligence, and dry-docking projects. Founded in 2001, they work with around 950 shipping companies across 53 countries and support roughly 200,000 port calls a year. If port spend and procurement are a recurring headache in your operation, these are the people who do nothing else.

They'll have an exhibit table and a session, so bring your worst invoice story.

Bergan Marine Systems is joining us as a Technology Partner at Helm Conference 2026!

Bergan has been designing and building tank level, alarm, and monitoring systems out of Pensacola since 1980, and out of Norway before that. Their equipment is aboard inland towboats, tank barges, oceangoing tankers, and government fleets. More recently they've pushed into cloud and IoT, including BargeWatch, which keeps eyes on loading and discharge so the crew isn't the only line of defense.

If you run barges, odds are you already have Bergan gear aboard. They'll have an exhibit table and a session, so come find out what they're building next.

We're proud to announce that AST Reygar is our Presenting Partner for Helm Conference 2026!

AST Reygar builds BareFLEET, the vessel monitoring system that pulls real-time data straight off engines and onboard equipment so operators can see fuel burn, machinery health, emissions, and vessel motion as it's happening. Workboats, ferries, tugs, offshore support, crewed or uncrewed. Same thing we care about at Helm: give operators real data and let them make the call.

Come meet the team at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, BC, October 20-22. Three days of sessions, training, and the whole community in one room.

We'll be in Hamburg for SMM 2026!

Helm is joining 40+ Canadian companies at the Canada Pavilion — Hall B6, Stands B6.141 & B6.148, September 1–4.

SMM is where the industry's next few years take shape: decarbonization, autonomy, and the slow, unglamorous work of getting fleet data out of spreadsheets and into systems that actually talk to each other. Those are the same conversations our customers are having on the water right now, and our European fleet is growing all the time.

The show floor is enormous and the week goes quickly, so we're booking conversations in advance. If you'd like time with our team in Hamburg, reach out and we'll find a slot.

🍁 We'll also be at the Canada Pavilion Reception — Wednesday, September 2, 4:00–6:00 PM. Come say hello!
