HeroWork

HeroWork aims to become the preeminent program for non-profits to renovate their existing community infrastructure. HeroWork does this at a fraction of the normal cost and time, through fast-paced renovation events called Radical Renovations. These are akin to a modern-day version of an old fashioned barn-raising. Already the physical state of our community infrastructure—our neighbourhood halls, our parks, our rec. centers, our shelters, our food banks and service centers—are critically diminished. In the recreational sector alone there is over $20 Billion of backlogged work and deferred maintenance. With a rising population and every-increasing demand for services, the need has already out-stripped traditional solutions. We envision growing into a national program, responsible for hundreds of community projects.
