Every fall we start getting calls about foggy windows, and the fix depends entirely on where the moisture is sitting. If it is on the inside surface of the glass and you can wipe it away, that is humidity in your home.
Run the bathroom fan, crack a window while you cook, and it usually settles down. If the fog is trapped between the panes and no amount of wiping touches it, the seal on that unit has failed and the insulating gas is gone. That one needs replacing, and in a lot of cases it is a single unit swap rather than the whole window.

The Nanaimo Fall Home Show runs October 2 to 4 at the Beban Park Social Centre, and guess whose going?

Campbell River, we're coming your way! The Campbell River Fall Home Show runs September 25 to 27 at the Campbell River Sportsplex in Willow Point, and this year marks its 20th anniversary.

Meet Dave Tyler, our Sales Consultant up in the Comox Valley and Campbell River.
Dave grew up in Victoria, but he spent his 20s working up in Campbell River and fell hard for the place and the people. Life took him a few directions after that, six years in the Navy included, but that part of the Island stuck with him. So when the chance came to move back, he jumped at it.
These days you'll find him right where he wanted to be, helping folks in the same community that won him over all those years ago.
