Welcome to the first day of Autumn and Tuesday Art Drop.
When was the last time you layed flat on the earth, looked up, and just let yourself get lost in the canapy?
My newest mosaic piece captures that exact moment of pause. Looking up through the branches completely changes how you see the world-the chaos fades, and you see the intricate puzzle of nature fitting together. I loved bringing this view to life on board using a mix of vibrant fall colored stain glass, tile, mirror accents, glass gems, and beads to catch the shifting light.
Come and see it in person on display at the Broken Paddle Coffee House in Metchosin. Enjoy a hot cuppa and treat while viewing.

Omg, our house smelled amazing last night- cucumber and zucchini dill pickle chips in the dehydrater = delicious! Great way to handle the excess produce this time of year.

The Westshore Garden Tour is happening tomorrow, 10-3. Tickets are still available at the link below and will be able to be purchased at any of the garden sites. Come and discover hidden surprises throughout the gardens. There will be live music, scavenger hunts, local art, and plants (indoor and outdoor) available. We look forward to seeing you there!
